I’m currently playing catch-up after a couple of trips, but I do plan to write a couple of posts about our first-ever trip to NYC soon. But first, since it’s a quick and easy post to make. Here are some of my favorite shots from the city that never sleeps!
This resulted from a mistake, I left the flash on. Turns out I love it.
There’s a tree ent in Central park!
A cupcake from Magnolia Bakery, which was immortalized in the SNL video “Lazy Sunday”. Apparently, it is very photogenic against the blue wall of our hostel.
Sometimes I love simple photos of people walking. Here we are in Central Park!
Too grainy, but ok in small sizes. It took a bit of editing to even get it to this point unfortunately. The tripod helps, but there’s only so much one can do without an SLR.
Is this not the most beautiful photo of food you’ve ever seen??? It looks gorgeous and it tasted great too! Definitely, check out Pam Real Thai. It was one of my favorite places to eat during this trip.
Marc actually took this one. Way to go Marc!
The massive reflection of the flash bugs me but whaddya gonna do when you’re in Times Square with no fancy lighting equipment and it’s raining? There’s a story to go along with this one, but I’ll leave you in suspense until later.
Technically not in New York, but still part of the travel. This is the unused BART track at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). I love you whoever set up all those lovely cones!
What do you think? Do you want to see more people doing crazy things or more beautiful architecture? Perhaps you’d like photos from the nearly six hour flight?
I like scenes more than photos of people, but scenes that contain people are just fine.
I loved the pics of the tree ent (!!:)), five friends at fountain, THE FOOD!, girl with hair snipits at NYCPD, and of course the million cones! I want that story of girl with hair! Any photos you post will be beautiful and/or amusing, so I vote for anything you feel led to post. ONDOLE!
I know the story of Sadie and the hair!
No suspense for me. 😦
